Shipping and Returns

All orders, unless otherwise noted, will ship from Ohio, 45889. Shipping for one toilet to any of the 50 states is $35. Orders to Hawaii and Alaska will be shipped via parcel post. All others will be shipped UPS. Please let us know if you prefer alternate shipping.

If you ordered your toilet online from, you should receive an email giving you the tracking number. You may use the carrier’s tracking system to check your package once it has been picked up and scanned into the carrier’s system, which is normally early in the evening.

We are able to ship to many countries outside of the US and Canada. Please contact us via email for shipping quotes. Any duties and/or fees required to be paid to the destination country are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Delivery Time

We maintain an adequate stock to fulfill all orders that come to us. If we receive your order before 1:00 pm Eastern Time on Mon-Fri, it will normally be shipped out that same day. Orders received after 1:00 pm will be shipped out that day, if at all possible, but will normally go out the next day.

We use USPS Priority Mail and UPS for shipping. We cannot guarantee the number of shipping days, but under most circumstances, orders to the East Coast will be delivered in 2-3 business days. Orders to the Midwest and West Coast may take 4-5 days. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii usually require 3-4 days. Canadian Orders should be delivered in 4-7 days.

Once we ship your order, we will send an email with the tracking number.

We are confident that you will be pleased with your Nature’s Head Composting Toilet. If you find, however, that you would like to return it, you may do so within 60 days of the date of receipt of your unit. We will reimburse you for the price you paid for the unit, not including any shipping.

  • We accept the return of units that have never been installed or used.
  • You must obtain prior authorization.
    • If you purchased the unit from an authorized distributor, you must obtain authorization and determine the shipping address for the distributor.
    • If you purchased the unit directly from Nature’s Head, you may call or email us directly.
  • Do not dispose of the original box in which you received your unit. We request that you return the unit in the same box in which you received it, and with all of the original packing materials. If the box is unsuitable for shipping, please inform us of this at the time you receive your authorization.
  • Make sure that all parts you received with the unit are included when you re-package the unit for return. We will need to deduct the price of any unreturned parts from your refund.
  • Include a copy of your original receipt in the box. Indicate the name of the person who authorized the return and the authorization date on the invoice.
  • Seal the box and ship it to us. Once we receive your unit, we will inventory and inspect the unit. If the package is complete and the unit has never been used, we will process your refund.
