The Through-the-Floor Urine Diverter Toilet is ideal for vehicle installations where a gray water tank is already in use for shower or sink water, but you do not want to deal with raw sewage dump outs. This model separates liquid and solid waste at the toilet. Only urine is routed below the toilet to an external holding tank, approved liquid waste system, or gray water tank, while solid waste remains contained in the composting chamber.
The straight urine outlet routes liquid waste directly from the urine spout down through the floor of the installation. Solid waste stays separated in the composting chamber, where it is mixed with peat moss or coconut coir using the agitator handle. This helps provide a waterless sanitation setup without combining solid waste and liquid waste into a traditional black water system.
User-supplied plumbing is required to connect the toilet’s flange connection to the user’s external tank or approved liquid waste system. Installation is made simple with the included template, which helps guide placement for drilling through the floor. A 1-3/4" hole saw is required to create the floor opening and is not included.
An easy-to-install cover is included to help conceal the plumbing for a clean, finished appearance. Mounting hardware for the cover is also included.
