Nature’s Head® Through-the-Floor Urine Diverter Kit

The Nature’s Head® Through-the-Floor Urine Diverter Kit is designed for users who want to route liquid waste from their Nature’s Head® composting toilet to an external tank or approved liquid waste system instead of using the standard urine bottle.

This kit is easily interchangeable with the standard Nature’s Head® urine bottle and bottle holder setup. The pre-assembled kit replaces the standard urine bottle system with a through-the-floor diverter configuration that directs urine from the toilet’s urine spout down through the floor of the installation. Solid waste remains contained in the composting chamber, while only the urine is routed elsewhere.

The kit is ideal for RVs, vans, cabins, tiny homes, off-grid homes, and more where an external liquid waste tank or plumbing system is preferred. User-supplied plumbing is required to connect the kit to the user’s external tank or approved liquid waste system.

Installation is made simple with the included template, which helps guide placement for drilling through the floor. A 1-3/4" hole saw is required to create the floor opening and is not included. An additional seal is also included to place on the urine spout for proper sealing.

An easy-to-install cover is included to help conceal the plumbing for a clean, finished appearance. Mounting hardware for the cover is also included.
